I-485 changed to “New Card Is Being Produced”

Feeling very excited, after such a long process, here is my timeline, hang in there everyone it's a long and hard process but at some point it does end.

7/20/2016 I-140 and I-485 concurrent filling
7/25/2016 I-485 received date (Texas Center)
8/26/2016 I-140 approved (premium processing
10/5/2016 Bio metrics appointment (postponed due to family I-485 delay)
11/4/2016 EAD/AP cards received
2/24/2017 RFE on my vaccines
3/9/2017 RFE received date
3/30/2017 New Card Is Being Produced

8 months between filling and card production

Oh my!!! Congrats!!!! That's amazing news. Did you mail your AOS packet to the Texas Service Center or to the Chicago mailbox (Nebraska service center)? Oh and what City did you file from?

I'm from Houston and have been waiting for my interview since July 2016, mailed my application April 25,2016 and this whole waiting game is really draining me out. It's been almost a year this coming month and I don't know how much more patience I have.

But, let me not be a party pooper. I am really excited for your and hope you get your card in your hands real soon.

The packet went to the Texas service center, mailed from Plano, Tx
I feel your pain, but make sure to keep the inquiries going to them, I sent an inquiry at every chance I could, I think you can do it every 30 days since the last communication you received (but confirm)
I also didn't have to do the interview, not sure how that goes and how they decide who needs one and who doesn't

Also I think if you are almost a year in waiting you can get the state congressman to help, but for that I would certainly check with an immigration attorney
